University is the 0 to 1 of building, the phase almost everyone who creates or operates a company passed through, dropouts included. A ranking tells you prestige; this tells you fit, so you go in with eyes open and don't burn out or land somewhere that isn't right.

there is no single ladder. Some paths are pure hard study and nothing else, some are environment and network, some are a portfolio of shipped things. Pick where you want to go: the path tells you what it actually costs, and which mix of campus, self-study and leaps gets you there.

not the global top 500 by market cap, the top companies of every sector: how they make money, how they work, and where they sit. From oil majors to luxury houses.

the community-driven layer: projects looking for contributors, papers open for co-authors, founders raising money or talent, and raw ideas looking for a team. Post yours, the data is public and reviewed before it shows.
Before you burn six months building, get it stress-tested by people who have actually shipped — and broken — companies. One sharp paragraph, a brutal honest roast, free. Find the fatal flaw before the market does.
Honest, fast feedback from founders and operators. No politeness tax, no "looks great!"
Kill the fatal flaw in a week, not after a year and your savings.
Cofounders, first believers and collaborators read the board. The right roast starts a team.
Your idea in front of builders, operators and investors exploring what's next.
The problem, your wedge and why now — one short paragraph, no deck.
The community tears into the model, the go-to-market and the "why you".
Iterate with what you learn, or find the people to build it with.
The only bad pitch is the one you never put out there.

equityflow.finance is an open, community-driven map of the private economy, run by Enrico Yu. Contact: enrico@equityflow.finance.
Most of the site is public data and needs no account. We only collect personal data when you choose to create one:
To run your account, attribute your contributions, and, only if you opted in, to occasionally contact you about ways to contribute to the network or to ask for a short interview / feedback. We do not sell your data, and we do not show third-party ads.
We use your browser's local storage for small, non-tracking things: your login session, and a flag remembering which guided tours you have already seen. No advertising cookies.
A few services help the site run: Supabase (authentication and database), CARTO / OpenStreetMap (map tiles), a public CDN for libraries, and PayPal if you choose to donate. Each processes only what it needs for that function.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your account and profile data at any time, just email enrico@equityflow.finance and we will handle it. You can also edit your profile or log out from the site directly.
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. The public dataset itself stays open and linked to its sources.
