Eric Gratz(United States · ♂)— Earned his Ph.D. at WPI working on the Hydro-to-Cathode recycling technology and co-founded Ascend Elements as CTO to turn that research into a domestic battery-materials supply chain.
Diran Apelian(United States · ♂)— A WPI metallurgy professor who initiated the battery-recycling research with Wang in 2011, he co-founded the company (originally Battery Resourcers) and served as board chair.
