Alain Vicari (France · ♂) — A translational immunologist who led immunology at Merck Serono, he co-founded Calypso in 2013 as a spin-out when Merck closed its Geneva site, advancing an anti-IL-15 antibody for autoimmune disease (later acquired by Novartis).
Yolande Chvatchko (France · ♀) — A translational immunology researcher from Merck Serono, she co-founded Calypso in 2013 as Chief Scientific Officer to develop its anti-IL-15 monoclonal antibody for chronic autoimmune conditions.
