Nuno Sebastiao (Portugal · ♂) — A Coimbra-trained engineer who worked on mission-critical systems at the European Space Agency, he teamed with two academic friends to apply machine learning to a hard real-time problem, settling on financial fraud detection.
Paulo Marques (Portugal · ♂) — A computer engineering professor at the University of Coimbra, he brought deep distributed-systems and big-data research expertise to co-found Feedzai as a fraud-detection platform.
Pedro Bizarro (Portugal · ♂) — A data-science researcher with a PhD from Wisconsin, he met his co-founders at Coimbra and co-founded Feedzai to build real-time machine-learning fraud detection.
