Dan Vahdat (Iran · ♂) — Born in Shiraz into a family of doctors and trained as a bioengineer at Johns Hopkins and Oxford, he left his PhD to found Medopad (later Huma) in 2011 after seeing hospitals lose visibility of patients once discharged.
