Jan Nilsson (Sweden · ♂) — Swedish racing driver who founded the Flash Engineering touring-car team in 1996, which partnered with Volvo and was later rebranded Polestar before being acquired by Volvo and turned into an EV brand.
Christian Dahl (Sweden · ♂) — Bought the Flash Engineering racing team in 2005 and rebranded it Polestar, choosing a name evoking the frozen north of Sweden and racing pole position, building the Volvo performance tuning brand that became today's EV maker.
