Maria Pereira(Portugal · ♀)— She invented the biomorphic adhesive polymer during her PhD work in the MIT labs of Bob Langer and Jeff Karp, and co-founded TISSIUM in 2013 to bring sutureless tissue reconstruction to surgery.
