Johannes Reck (Germany · ♂) — While a student at ETH Zurich, he arrived early on a 2009 Beijing trip and could not book any tours online; that frustration, paired with his friend Tao Tao guiding him around the city, led him to co-found GetYourGuide as a marketplace for tours and activities.
Tao Tao (China · ♂) — Born in Beijing and raised across Germany, the US, the Netherlands and Switzerland, he met Reck in high school; after guiding him around Beijing he co-founded GetYourGuide, where he serves as COO.
Martin Sieber (♂) — One of the four ETH Zurich co-founders who helped launch GetYourGuide in 2009 as an online tours-and-activities marketplace.
