Founders

Jan Goetz (Germany · ♂) — A quantum physicist and Marie-Curie fellow who co-founded IQM in 2018 as a spinout of Aalto University and VTT to build European superconducting quantum computers, serving as CEO.
Mikko Mottonen (Finland · ♂) — An Aalto professor leading the Quantum Computing and Devices group whose academic research seeded IQM in 2018, where he became Chief Scientist.
