UCL charges UK home undergraduates the regulated cap of about GBP 9,250 a year, but international undergraduates pay roughly GBP 26,000 to GBP 47,000, and London is one of the most expensive student cities in the world at around GBP 18,000 to GBP 24,000 a year to live. Even a home student paying low tuition faces punishing living costs, and an international student stacks high fees on top.
