Zach Perret (United States · ♂) — A North Carolina-raised Duke chemistry/biology grad turned Bain consultant, he teamed with a Bain colleague to build a financial app and discovered the real problem was connecting apps to bank data, which became Plaid.
William Hockey (United States · ♂) — A rural-California-raised Emory computer-science/economics grad, he interned at Bain where he met Perret and co-built the consumer finance app that pivoted into Plaid's bank-data infrastructure.
